We are currently seeking Facilities and Vendor Supervisor to join our Information Technology department. As a Facilities and Vendor Supervisor you’ll work directly with individuals to assess their needs, develop personalized care plans, and connect them with essential services and supports. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute projects related to the procurement, allocation and maintenance of software and equipment.
- Plan budgets for and negotiate contracts, equipment, furniture, facilities, and existing and new supplies.
- Monitor the facility and grounds to ensure that it remains safe, secure and well maintained.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment and electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ensure that facilities meet environmental, health and security standards and comply with governmental regulations.
- Engage vendors, after at least two (2) quotes, to upgrade, repair or maintain facilities.
- Responds to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone and electronically.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or Business Administration preferred.
- One (1) year of related experience required.
- Will demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem solving skills and flexibility in relationship to job requirements.
- Will possess effective communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills with respect for others, including individuals, coworkers and other professionals within a diverse work environment.
- Will be available to meet the needs/requirements of staff, coworkers and individuals during CareStar’s standard business hours.
- Will possess computer skills sufficient to enter information electronically, to use CareStar’s website and email and to demonstrate familiarity with suite of Microsoft Office programs.
- Understands and complies with CareStar Policies and Procedures.
- Follows the Acceptable Use Policy while using any information systems owned or controlled by CareStar, Inc.
