We are currently seeking a IT CO-OP to join our Information Technology Department. Key Responsibilities
- Respond to tickets and resolve employee IT issues.
- Assist with equipment troubleshooting.
- Implement company-wide innovative solutions and software for all employees (e.g., secure texting, e-signatures, e-interpreters, voice-to-text, etc.).
- Assist with setting up new hire equipment.
- Adheres to all HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations to ensure confidentiality of both consumer and employee information.
- Adheres to the CareStar Rule in performance of job responsibilities.
- Understands and complies with CareStar Policies and Procedures.
- Maintains confidentiality as related to patient information. Any disclosures of confidential information made unlawfully outside the proper course of duty will be treated as a serious disciplinary offense.
- Follows the Acceptable Use Policy while using any information systems owned or controlled by CareStar, Inc.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at a college or university.
- Work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
- One semester commitment.
- Self-motivated and possess an eagerness to learn.
- Willingness to listen and participate in tasks.
- Proficient computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.
