We are currently seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join our Clinical Department. This is a meaningful opportunity for professionals who are passionate about helping others live healthier, more independent lives. As a Clinical Supervisor, you’ll guide, support and evaluate the case manager's individual efforts by focusing on ongoing clinical and compliance issues, staff development, concurrent clinical review and assistance to Case Managers with both daily caseload and crisis management. The Clinical Supervisor will ensure compliance within the terms of the specified program, as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Adheres to the CareStar Rule in performance of job responsibilities.
Understands and complies with CareStar Policies and Procedures.
Maintains confidentiality as related to patient information. Any disclosures of confidential information made unlawfully outside the proper course of duty will be treated as a serious disciplinary offense.
Follows the Acceptable Use Policy while using any information systems owned or controlled by CareStar, Inc.
Directly supervises, manages and oversees staff, including hiring, firing and providing performance evaluations, including and individual development goals and objectives.
Provides direct clinical services to consumers as necessary to assist the clinical team.
Educates, counsels, evaluates, and manages performance of the clinical team.
Maintains/updates knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, insurance and program specific administered waivers.
Monitors intake assessment inquiries and requests; ensures appropriate information and referral services are provided in a timely manner.
Oversees the assignment of initial eligibility assessments and other clinical work to appropriate staff and new individuals to a Clinical Supervisor.
Minimum QualificationsMaintains minimum educational and experience requirements of the specific program.
Completes all training curriculums and professional development requirements as specified by the assigned program.
Possesses integrity, self-discipline, with the ability to work independently within guidelines.
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, insurance and waiver programs and community resources.
Demonstrates strong critical thinking and problem solving skills and flexibility in relationship to job requirements.
Computer skills sufficient to enter and process consumer information, report preparation, and use CareStar’s website and email, and familiarity with suite of Microsoft Office programs.
Valid driver’s license and car insurance as required by State law.
